Elena was quite wonderful to conduct this interview in English! I appreciate very much that she was willing to accommodate me in this manner! She is quite a wonderful lady on and off the opera stage.

Elena had finished her run of Luisa Miller, and came back into Zurich especially to speak with me, a very lovely person. Again saying thank you seems insufficient!

What can I say about this singer! She is more gracious in person that I could have imagined! We set this interview up hours before she we going on stage as Maria Stuarda. A time when most singers are busy preparing for the evening, Joyce was taking her time to talk to me.
